afka is a 32-year-old man who once wanted to join the Defense Force with his childhood friend Mina Ashiro to fight kaiju, but gave up after failed attempts. Now, he works for a kaiju disposal company, a job far removed from his childhood dreams. However, during a routine job, Kafka is transformed into a kaiju after a parasitic creature enters his body through his mouth. In this form, he gains superhuman strength, speed, durability, regeneration, and the ability to detect other kaiju.
