Howard rejoins us to bring more to light and depth on fasting. He speaks about the most important city in the whole earth, which is Jerusalem in regards to fasting. He shows by the word of God that there are spiritual rivers that flow from the City of Jerusalem, and brings imagery to it. The Cross being the central focal point of fasting.

I have never experienced teaching on fasting in the most deep and precious way. Howard says, "The fastest way to know God is to fast." Listen as He goes into His own personal experiences into fasting and how it brought a powerful crystal clarity to the way he saw the word, heaven and this world. He said it feels as if he soars higher and higher into the heavens when he fasts.

It is God's purifying power and joy as it does the most critical work in a believers life. Those who fast know these refreshing, spiritual streams of fasting. If you are one who does not fast, or feel as if you are never successful at it, it is okay. Fasting is very intimate and personal as much as private prayer is.

Even if fasting is not for you due to your own personal valid reasons, do not let these insights Howard shares feel as if they set you apart as less than. As if those that do and can fast are the only ones to ascend to heights that you feel are closed to you. No that is not how it works.

You can still receive as much refreshing, purifying, spiritual streams of Jerusalem through heart felt devotions, loving prayer and reading His word. Keeping living union and communion with Jesus Christ. Let Him lead you into a fast. He knows you.

Fasting is definitely something to pray about. Let the Lord give you the go-ahead, power and grace to do it. Remember, It is not just for a special class. Take heart and be of good courage. God still takes all His searching children "from strength to strength," "from faith to faith," "from glory to glory." Until one day in eternity they will all see Jesus Christ, "face to face," and rejoice evermore.

“Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man's power ends."
