This is the first neck fan of this type I have tried and I have to say it does have a very pleasant cooling effect on a warm day. This particular model from Hinersound is described as designed for women and I guess that is why it felt rather a snug fit for me - not unpleasantly tight but close fitting rather than loose.

In the rather up market box, you receive the neck fan itself, a USB-C charging cable and a well written, nicely printed but rather unnecessary user guide. Build quality all seems excellent and the neck fan does have a rather upmarket feel that reassures me somewhat about the price which at £23.99 before discounts is rather higher than some less of the cheaply made rivals.

The 208 x 180 mm fan has a built-in USB-C rechargeable 5200mAh Li-Ion battery, or to be more accurate, two 2600 batteries, one for each of the two fans. Charging takes around four hours and should give you between 5 and 16 hours depending on the fan speed selected. There are three fan speeds available: 2950, 3970 or 5000 rpm at a noise level of just 25db. The neckband offers a full 360° airflow, around the rear of the neck as well as the sides controlled by a single soft touch button on the side.

The neck fan is lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear and hopefully should help to keep you cool all day. It is robust, well made and built to last and can be kept clean easily with just a damp cloth.

The Good
Excellent Build Quality
Effective Cooling
Low Noise
Simple Operation

The Bad
Small to Medium Fitting
No Carry Bag
