At their largest, they are s ft (1.5 m) tall with a wingspan of 8.5 ft (2.6 m).
Their call is a series of loud popping noises which sounds like a machine gun.
They flap their wings the slowest of any bird and also poop on themselves to cool off when they get too hot.
There are only around 5000 - 8000 or so remaining in the world.
