Eternally Grateful
In fields of green, beneath the sky,
Where countless silent heroes lie,
We bow our heads, our hearts in hand,
To honor those who took a stand.

For freedom’s light, they faced the night,
With courage pure and spirits bright,
Their sacrifice, the price they gave,
So we might live, so free, so brave.

With grateful hearts, we now bestow
Our thanks upon the winds that blow,
Through whispering trees and blooming fields,
A promise kept, a vow that yields.

To those who fell, in duty’s name,
We honor you, with endless flame,
Your legacy, our guiding star,
In peace, in love, no matter how far.

This day we pause, remember, pray,
For those who paved our freedom’s way,
Their noble deeds, our freedom’s cost,
We cherish deeply, never lost.
