The European Union's top diplomat says the bloc willhave to make a choice between supportinginternational institutions and the rule of law.

Joseph Borrell was speaking after the UN's highestcourt ruled that Israel had to halt its military offensivein Raffah, in response to a case brought by South Africa.

South Africa has accused Israel of violating the UNgenocide convention in Gaza. Israel has said "nopower on earth" will stop it going after Hamas.
