Perfume has a rich history that goes back much further than Chanel N°5. Today, many people use perfume or cologne daily, but in the past, it was a luxury linked to the gods. Egyptians called it the sweat of the sun god, and Romans thought it connected them to the divine. However, the history of perfume isn't entirely pleasant.
