Welcome to episode 2 of Ere Philo. He is a cantankerous, loud old Christian man from West Africa, from the tribe of Bini, who communicates biblical truths and concepts via phone calls to friends and relatives. In this second edition, he addresses the place of a mother-in-law in her son's home and the relationship with the daughter-in-law. He is talking to a relative who treats her son's home as her own plaything, disrespecting her son's wife and speaking into the private affairs of the young married couple. Lots of local slangs are used, and a huge helping of the native Edo language. The character models the mannerism of my late father, Ambassador Osayomore Joseph, I remember his speech, quirks, his ability to mix Edo language and English in delivering a message.
