The IDF continues to slowly expand its operation in the Egyptian border city of Rafah while continuing to operate in Jabalya in northern Gaza. According to numerous reports the IDF has overcome earlier US objections to the Rafah operation after some 950,000 civilians evacuated from the war zone at Israel's direction.
