Teenager Breaks Stick On Tree, Flying Piece Hits Friend Behind Camera

There is a destructive violent nature in teenage boys, all teenage boys (even the quiet sensitive ones who wouldn’t hurt a fly), that looks remarkedly a lot like stupidity. As someone who works and lives with men who formerly were teenage boys, let me tell you…they were all dumb in one way or another. There is something about being a teenage boy that causes them to lose all semblance of rational thought from time to time. I’d like to blame the hormones, but it has to be more than that, right?

The boys in this video are running around the woods with a video camera. One of them decides he is going pick up a large stick. Usually, this means that the boy is going to hit something with said stick or try and throw it really, really far (like two feet) in an attempt to show off. These boys decide that hitting something is the right choice. The one with the stick lines up and takes a swing at a nearby tree. The boy with the camera stands back at what we assume he thinks is a safe distance.

However, the stick is not messing around and is in cahoots with the tree. When the boy hits the tree with the stick a large chunk of it breaks off. If you go frame by frame in the video you can see two large chunks fly off of the stick. Unfortunately for the teen behind the camera one of those chunks flies toward him hitting him and the camera.
