⭕️ TRUE CRIME [LIVE]: A former Miss Ecuador contestant was shot dead in a restaurant just minutes after she posted a photo of her meal to Instagram. Landy Párraga was tracked by her alleged killer after revealing her location on her Instagram story with a post about the octopus ceviche she ordered at a restaurant. The 23-year-old beauty queen is said to have a link to an Ecuadorian crime boss. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down what led to Párraga’s murder.

Bodycam footage shows the moments surrounding the beatdown of an alleged drunk man who mocked a woman with Down syndrome at Disney World in January. Brent George, who had a few drinks in his system, claimed he was having a “good time” with a group of individuals when he was attacked by them. However, the group had a different recollection of events, stating George came over and made fun of a handicapped woman by imitating the grunts that she occasionally made, prompting the physical altercation. Heather Schrock, 32, was arrested in Warsaw, Illinois when police say her son wandered around their neighborhood before being spotted by a concerned Good Samaritan. Law enforcement says they located Schrock at her job and took her into custody. An Ohio man was arrested after police received a call about a city vehicle weaving in and out of its lane. The driver, Richard Dzik, was pulled over, and police instantly smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle. The cops then asked Dzik to perform field sobriety tests, which they believed he failed, resulting in his arrest. Police allegedly found a can of Twisted Tea and a loaded gun in the car. Dzik was arrested for OVI and traffic violation charges, to which he has since pleaded not guilty.

Students and staff at Kennesaw State University in Georgia were shocked when a 21-year-old medical student was gunned down outside her dorm on Saturday. Alasia Franklin, who was studying to become a nurse practitioner, was fatally shot following a dispute with an armed intruder.
