Milk Powder Burfi Recipe | Instant Milk Powder Burfi in 10 Minutes

This traditional Pakistani sweet is made with just a few simple ingredients and is perfect for any special occasion or as a treat for yourself. Ingredients for Milk Powder Burfi:
• 2 and 1/2 cups milk powder
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 cup malai (homemade cream)
• 1 tablespoon slivered almonds and pistachios ( for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Grease the parchment paper with oil, Sprinkle the slivered almonds and pistachios evenly on the bottom of the pan. Set the pan aside.
3. Add milk powder, milk, malai and sugar in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Set aside.
4. Heat a non-stick pan on low heat and add 1 tablespoon of ghee to it.
5. Once the ghee melts, add the milk powder mixture to the pan.
6. Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
7. Once the mixture reaches a thick consistency and starts to come together, add 1 tablespoon of ghee and cook for 1-2 minutes.
8. Remove the pan from the heat and transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, spreading it evenly over the nuts.
9. Smooth the top with a spatula.
10. Let the burfi set at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
11. Once set, Cut the burfi into squares.
12. Serve and enjoy!
