SABC News | ICJ Ruling on Israel | Reactions as World Court judges order

May 24, 2024.

The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah, Gaza. In its latest application to the Hague-based Court, South Africa petitioned the World Court to order additional provisional measures including a withdrawal of Israeli military from Rafah.

ICJ President Judge Nawaf Salam made the ruling.
