Mr Meckler
correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Constitution get suspended if a convention of states is called? If so, there is no second amendment Fourth amendment first amendment fifth amendment right all the first amendment all the amendments are gone we have no rights anymore is that really a good idea?
With the powers to be knowing where the guns are?
Every time you purchase a weapon it's registered to you and your address they can come get the guns is this really a good idea do we really want to suspend our constitution to redo something that if we work in another diligent manner we can get..... term limits?
Hi Aaron,

No, absolutely not. The Constitution cannot be suspended by a convention or by a convention being held. A convention is just a meeting of the states to discuss and possibly propose changes to the Constitution, usually because "we the people" need or want something and Congress refuses to comply and propose it. As I believe I have told you in a previous email, it only proposes amendments and then those proposals go out to the 50 states and only when 3/4 of the 50 states have ratified an individual amendment can it be added to the Constitution. The video you sent to us a couple of weeks ago are people who are telling some pretty big lies to confuse and/or scare you and none of it is true. It is all propaganda that has been around for about 50-60 years and has been proven to be false over and over by actual constitutional scholars and constitution attorneys.

And the Bill of Rights is not on the table under our application and cannot be brought up for discussion. Everything in our application states that amendments must restrain, limit or reduce powers of the federal government so the Bill of Rights is in legal terms "no germane" to the application under which a convention would have been called.
