Tripping on Travel: Bigelow Hollow State Park, pt 4, Union, CT

I ventured north on the road into the park and found Bigelow Brook. This water flows from the southern end of Machapaug Pond adjacent to the boat launch. It then travels down the east side of the road, crosses to the west side via the underpass of a small bridge, and then flows south into Bigelow Pond, introduced in my prior footage. The water flow was rather loud in this footage, so I lowered the volume of some segments down a few decibels during editing. Understand, I begin this footage on the west side of the road and after Bigelow Pond. I moved my car north and upstream of the brook, just after the small bridge, and parked on the eastside of the road where I took the second half of this footage.

Alcohol is prohibited inside the park. All pets must be on a leash no more than 7 feet long. There is no camping or ground fires permitted in the park. Out-of-state visitors will pay a parking fee. According to the CTParks website, out-of-state visitors are required to pay a $10 fee to park on weekdays, and $15 on weekends and holidays. All visitors are required to take their trash with them when they leave.
