Proverbs 3:11-12 New King James Version
11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor detest His correction;
12 For whom the LORD loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!

I'm going to be honest with all of you right now, and state that these verses above, as well as this morning's passage of scripture bring back some very bad memories. They leave a sour taste in my mouth, because of the trauma and abuse that were inflicted on me, and these verses were twisted to bring that about. However, God has been slowly but surely sweetening that bitter, traumatic taste in my mouth, by showing me every day how much HE truly loves me, and that whatever correction He gives me, is out of REAL love for me, and a desire to make me who I’m meant to be in Him.

I guess that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, are also stirring up some past memories, as well as helping me to see what GOD'S discipline, not man's version of God's discipline, it's about comment and I'd like to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

How have you understood God's discipline in the past?

How might He have disciplined you recently in order to make you more lovely?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you encourages you to see that God's correction, His discipline, comes out of a true genuine place of love. That His correction comes with love and is designed to make you who you are meant to be. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, to see just what I'm talking about, and I pray that it helps you see how much God loves you! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that if you have been put through the wrong version of discipline, that God will heal you of those wounds, and that you will come to see God's discipline as the true, loving, compassionate correction that it truly is. I also pray for those who read these questions and feel triggered by the abuse of their past, to know that God does not operate this way. Know that the discipline God offers, is not abusive, barbaric, brutal, cruel, dictatorial, manipulative, or sadistic, but one of love, compassion, mercy, and a desire to make you into who you are truly meant to be in Him and no one else! Remember, my friends, God's correction comes straight out of love, and a desire to make us who we're meant to be, so let's allow God to bring about His good in our lives.

UNTIL SATURDAY:

HAVE A BEAUTIFUL, BLESSED AND PEACEFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
