You've been to Germany, haven't you? Yeah, well, you have a station over there. So spent three years over there as a youngster. And so, you know, I say goomy and all sorts of other they don't think pronunciations are a little different. So well, I'm from Texas, damn it. And born and reared here. And we all know how painful that can be. So that you know, the interesting thing is it doesn't it doesn't actually mean that it's being pronounced correctly. But I want you to hear the mid-roll that we have because it's a recorded thing. And I think I'm saying it the same way that guy is saying it. He just sounds so much better. Whenever he says it. So stay tuned for that. I'm going to find out what you think about the way he pronounces it. Maybe it's just my my stupid American ear not hearing the the subtleties of the German language. Yeah, I mean, I figured it's a Bavarian country. So it's a play on, you know, Bavarian, right? The W's are pronounced like a V. Is it? Okay. Bavarian. Okay. Yeah. Looks like a warrior to me.

Yeah.

All right. Go topless day. One dead, two injured.

Now we got a show. Yeah.

So I've mentioned this several times before. If you're going to go to go topless day in southeast Texas, you can go to the Bolivar Peninsula or somewhere in regular Galveston where it's actually within the city limits or it's still called Galveston further down the beach, further east on the beach. I'm sorry, further west on the beach. And I've only been to go topless day once. There was no shootings,

at least when we left at four, there wasn't. It may have been later that night, but I found out since then and several listeners have reached out and said, oh, yeah, you know, you need to go to the one in Galveston because that one is family friendly. And, you know, it's not it's a lot calmer. So this year and every year, at least here in southeast Texas, our beach is Galveston and go topless day happens several places along that sandy border of the Gulf of Mexico. Bolivar is generally a bad place to attend the event unless you have body armor and driving to Detroit is just too far to try that out. See what I did there?

There was one hundred and eighty nine arrests made. And the thing that the thing I find really strange, I saw this on the last time I looked this information up the pre go topless day, the local media is calling it Jeep weekend.

And I don't know, is is go topless day copyrighted or they don't want to I don't promote go topless day. Maybe go topless is too much negative connotation to it.

Yeah, or maybe it's too dirty or something. I don't know. Somebody said change it. It's really strange. Jeep weekend. Of course, I kind of like that from the standpoint of go topless day doesn't say Jeep. I mean, that most everybody understands it's Jeep related. But Jeep weekend certainly indicates it's Jeep. You would think at least it's something that you can take the top off of. And I think that would be a like a 70s Bronco Blazer, also the same type of timeframe and the Bronco. I think those are really the only choices, the modern day Bronco, really the only choices for go topless. Unless it's a convertible car.

Yeah, I wonder who the troublemakers are. So didn't they ban like American muscle cars, a coffee, cars and coffee there in Houston or something recently? Oh, I didn't see that. That's interesting. I saw something. It was like if you have a Mustang, a Camaro or a Challenger, like you're not welcome. So wow. That's I guess if it gets bad enough, people go out on a limb and do that. Yeah, people acting up being stupid. So, yeah, you can't find no more anywhere anymore. So the Bolivar Peninsula, there were there was one fatality among the victims of again, Bolivar, Bolivar Peninsula. But it's unclear if they died at the scene or died later. And my question is, does it frickin matter? They are dead.

Yeah, I mean, they got shot out there at Bolivar. So

even if you were going by yourself, Bill, is this something that you would be interested in attending at least once go topless day? And of course, you got to drive down from Austin to Galveston because that's that's the closest beach to you. No, absolutely not. Like the crowds and people being stupid. Like, honestly, if I want to go drive on the beach, go down to Padre down to the National Seashore, there's like 60 miles of like undeveloped beaches out there. And you just drive until you find a spot where there's no other vehicles out there. And you have you have like your own private beach to go camp on and start up a fire, have some drinks or whatever, and not deal with all this silliness that goes on at these events. I think you brought up a good point, though, as far as who was the groups that were causing the issues.
