I'm just going to be really cool. Are you ready? It's time for the Jeep dog show with host Tony, Josh, Wendy, and Chuck. Well, howdy. It's Wendy and I'm so lucky to have the friends I have in this deep community that I belong to. I am Larry and I hopefully will be wheeling soon. It's been a while. June 7th. Well, that's that's the hope. You know, you you're not for sure. I'm not 100% sure yet. I gotta be clear from the doctor, you know, I've had all those quacks. I've had my clutch leg worked on so I gotta gotta get that operational again. That's right. He doesn't have an automatic where he can just sit there and drive. He has to right. You know, Duke's been on enough trips and he's been just eating stuff and not working. It's time to make that dog drive. Yeah, you have to work that clutch pedal a little bit. Just put a McDonald's thing on there that whatever it was. What is it? The breakfast thing that he likes? What is it? It doesn't matter. It's true. What am I talking about here? He doesn't peruse the menu and say, oh, I'm tired of that. Let's get something different this time. Alright, Jeep axing the grand Cherokee. It isn't so I just I mean my god, I wish they had done this years ago. So whenever I went in and was getting a part for my Cherokee, I didn't have to be asked. Is it a grand? No, god damn it. It's a real Jeep. Damn it. It's not something yuppy. It's not something yuppy mobile. I know. Oh, they are pretty nice. Oh, they are. Absolutely. Uh but I wanted I wanted an off-road vehicle. Okay. So I'm thinking Jeep is turning over a new leaf. Uh the new EV only Recon may be coming with an ice option. Uh and now Jeep's getting rid of the non off-road Jeeps. Hmm is maybe they're onto something. No, no, don't be ridiculous. They're not getting rid of that. They're not getting rid of the non uh the non off-road jeeps. No, no, no. So, right here. Yeah. So this is this is what you're going to go. Oh, that makes sense. They're axing prices. So, you you guys have heard. I like how you're not reading ahead in the show notes, Wendy. I appreciate that. I'm not. I'm listening. I'm trying to be like a listener. I'm like, what are you talking about? That's that's a great reaction and you guys can see the reactions if you watch us on YouTube. That's right. YouTube and search for Jeep talk show. So, don't be ridiculous. They're axing prices with reductions between. Listen to this part. Reductions between eleven thousand and twenty-eight thousand dollars. Wow. Oh my gosh. Wow. These things must be stupid expensive. Yeah. You're the only way you're getting twenty-eight grand off. That thing was over a hundred already. Oh, you know it. So, I mean, you know, it's that on sale thing, you know, that gets you but my god, could you imagine getting twenty-eight thousand dollars off a vehicle? You could think you'd won the lottery till you got that first payment. Yeah. So, what the the the Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee L, I've had both of those for rentals and that's a pretty pricey rig there. So, I can see where those would be a hundred ish real quick. Well, and this here where it's kind of gives us an idea. Prices have been reduced by more than 20% on some models with the biggest savings to be found, of course, on the flagship seven seater version. That's where they're going to take the twenty-eight off of. Yeah. So, yeah. The top of the line. I mean, thirty, thirty thousand dollars roughly and that's twenty percent of the value. Wow. Yeah, you're right. I mean, we're talking, you know, some hefty dollars there. I don't see how these people can pay for these things. I know. That's what I want to know. What do they do for a living? That's my question. Who said they're paying for them? Well, I mean, they have to make the monthly payments, right? Well, yeah. They get maybe the first one. I mean, how long can you keep it and not pay for it? Yeah. Well, that's right. There's it depends on the state apparently. I know. I know here in Missouri, there's a ton of those little black tow trucks running
