The Symbolism of the Fountain

Water in all mystic systems means ‘spirit’. If received it may be represented as symbolic rivers, streams or waterfalls, even ‘rain’. But these symbols describe spiritual input, received from outside our own mind. But spirit can also be received that ‘rises’ from inner reserves, often represented symbolically as lakes or ponds, built up by us. This 'inner spirit' can be used during ‘purification’, which is either long and drawn out, or it may be rather dramatic and symbolically represented using a Fountain. If it is in the form of a fountain , it denotes a kundalini experience . In the majority of mystic movements there were techniques that enabled a person to conserve energy in these virtual ‘ponds’ or ‘lakes’ within their own bodies and then further techniques that then released the energy in a controlled way. The techniques were once there in the majority of eastern systems and the western systems shared them with the east, Judaism and the Kabbalah, for example. It is not a large garden but features many of the symbolic garden attributes – it is walled and has small ponds as well as fountains and numerous symbolic plants. Some of the plants have been chosen for the climate, and as such have no specific symbolic associations, but there is a noticeable use of cactii. There is much use of very bright clear colours, as well as paths which have a distinct outline and colour [red mostly]. The blue used is intense – the sort of blue found in many religious paintings. ANNA HAINING SWAN (Bates) was a giantess; her father had emigrated from Dumfries, Scotland, to Nova Scotia; her mother was a Nova Scotian whose ancestors came from the Orkneys. When she was 5 years old, Anna, was 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighed over 100 pounds; at 22 she was 7 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 350 pounds.

Fiona Buchet is a professional singer and songwriter, as well as being a wife, mother of two teens and joint partner in a business she runs with her husband, Louis.
She is a hero, fighting for what is right, brave in her opposition to hurt in all its forms.
She is powered by her inbuilt 'relationship with Spirit and Nature', and says she 'dedicates her life to exploring the mechanisms of All That Is', as well as expressing her gift, which is to perform live and, more recently, compose and produce her own music.
Fiona writes thoughtful, lilting and rhythm-based ambient/electronica music at her home studio in Wellington, New Zealand. Her music has been compared to Kate Bush, Massive Attack and Billie Eilish, and has been described as 'atmospheric and slightly disturbing... in a good way!'
