U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson shared Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will ‘soon’ address a joint session of Congress.

“Tonight, I’m happy to announce something else to you: that we will soon be hosting Prime Minister Netanyahu at the Capitol for a joint session of Congress,” said Johnson in a speech at an event signifying Israel’s independence, held by the Israeli Embassy.

Johnson did not specify when exactly the address would take place.
