This video shows storm chaser Reed Timmer chasing a major tornado outbreak in the middle of the night in the Florida Panhandle. An EF2 tornado made landfall very near my location at Santa Rosa Beach, causing a 106 mph wind gust to be measured by the automated mesonet station there. If I positioned 0.25 mile to the west, it would have been a direct tornado intercept. 24 tornadoes have been confirmed from this outbreak, including an EF3 tornado that came ashore at Panama City Beach
