Brain Waves Explained

Every morning, as we wake up, our brains go through a fascinating transformation.

This transformation is marked by a shift in brain waves, which are electrical patterns that reflect different states of consciousness.

The brain has five main types of brain waves, each with a distinct speed and function:

- Delta Waves are the slowest and occur during deep sleep.
-Theta Waves are a step up from Delta, seen in deep relaxation and the edge of sleep.
- Alpha Waves are related to a relaxed, meditative state.
- Beta Waves indicate alertness, focus, and activity.
- Gamma Waves are the fastest, linked to high-level thinking and problem-solving.

When you wake up, your brain transitions from Delta to Theta and Alpha, eventually reaching Beta when you're fully awake and alert. This transition period-especially the Theta state-is a golden opportunity to set a positive tone for the day, and your life.
