It's a Gooseberry, not a Mooseberry (we don't have wild moose in Arkansas) 05/23/2024

So far, so good with the 'Hinnomaki Red' Gooseberry plant. I planted two of these outside several months ago, but the other one failed to thrive. Really looking forward to a midsummer harvest. This is a trial run for me, so if it survives and bears fruit, I will definitely plant more next year. It has been many years since I had a piece of Gooseberry Pie.
