State leaders hold seminar to teach seniors how to avoid becoming scam victims

The Secretary of State’s office along with the American Association for Retired Person’s held a seminar Wednesday to give seniors tips on how to -not- become scam victims. Those attending the seminar watched a documentary entitled “Scammed: Investment Fraud Revealed” that looks at the issues through the eyes of the victims. Many of those who attended the event said it was an eye-opening experience.
