In simple words, it is just an agreement between the user and the developer or service provider. If a certain condition is met, the contract will automatically execute its task. This is why it is called a smart contract. Smart contracts are programmed using the Solidity programming language and can be easily deployed.

Smart contracts are vital for dApps, NFTs, swapping crypto, selling/buying crypto, etc. These contracts can be created by anyone easily because they are part of the blockchain ecosystem, which provides an extra layer of assurance and security for reliability.
