Bodycam footage shows female hostages taken at military base on Oct 7

Bodycam footage of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 from inside a military base has been released by relatives of the victims. The footage shows several female ‘observers’ in the army being taken hostage, some after being brutally beaten. Outside, the battle for the base can be heard raging on, but inside, communication is just as difficult, with some of the hostages unable to make themselves understood. One woman, Agam Berger, was particularly badly beaten, her mouth swollen and covered in blood.

According to her cousin, she is alive, although still held captive. Some of the hostages were released during the ceasefire in November, and they brought news that she was alive and well; however, nothing has been heard since. The fate of the other hostages in the video is not known. This edited version of the footage, obtained by and shared with the permission of the hostage families, was released by the Hostages Family Forum.
