Lamborghini crashes into armed Rolex thief out of revenge

A daring highway robbery ended in the world’s shortest car chase and the world’s most unlikely car accident. A would-be thief pulled alongside a rather expensive Lamborghini sports car in Sao Paulo, brandished a gun and demanded the driver hand over his also expensive Rolex watch. The driver obliged, and it seemed as if this literal highwayman was about to get away with it.

The hapless thief forgot one important thing, however: this is Brazil.

The Lamborghini driver decided that vengeance trumped insurance deductibles, traffic laws and the human desire for safety, and as the thief attempted a somewhat illegal left turn, he drove his car right into the thief with as much force as 700 horsepower can deliver. The resulting crash ejected the thief from his bike, the Rolex from the thief’s one hand and the gun from his other. The gun and the Rolex were quickly recovered, but the thief made a slow, limping getaway. He remains at large, and probably still with a pronounced limp.
