Microsoft Sent Senua's Saga: Hellblade II Out to DIE!

Microsoft did absolutely nothing to market one of their biggest releases of the year and it is failing in a big way. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was announced at the beginning of the Xbox Series X/S lifecycle and is finally out there for the world to play, but it's too little, too late.

The Journalists LOVE the game, but the players are not keen on the overly verbose story and light gameplay. The sales numbers are a completely different story though...

While it is a GamePass release, the Steam numbers are atrocious. The dedicated fans of the game, willing to pay full price are few and far between. That's not a good sign for a multivariate approach for Xbox and the viability of their subscription model in the long-term is still up for debate.

Needless to say, Ninja Theory appears to be yet another studio to be on the Xbox chopping block; but this looks to be by design.
