Acquaintanceship is too often mistaken for friendship.

I have long held my own code of friendship, and it has served me well. Call me conceited if you will, but when I label someone ‘friend’ that is equivalent to the Presidential Medal of Freedom. A true friend is a treasure far more valuable [because it is so rare] than any other thing.
