In this episode, we venture to Am Phu Cave, Marble Mountain, near Da Nang, Vietnam in May 2024. This ancient mountain site has numerous caves that monks had turned into temples. Then when the French began to colonize Vietnam, they shut down these temples in attempts to control the people. They were lost to the jungle wilderness until the Vietnam War, when Marines searching for a lost aircraft pilot stumbled upon the main cave & its amazing Buddha statue. Since then, the other caves were rediscovered & turned back into various temples. It was a tiring but incredible day trip & a must-see if visiting Danang, Vietnam!
