A painting for Thomas and Sandy

“Dragonfly” is a custom made painting for Sandy and Thomas Netzel of Osprey, Florida. The commissioned artist, Laurie Maves (Guglielmi), worked with the clients to provide a color palette and composition that would work best for their home and personal style. The finished product provides for an organic feeling reflecting the hues of the Gulf Coast of Florida, while metaphorically addressing forms found in nature, specifically the complex components of the wings of a dragonfly.
