Missouri cop under investigation.

Investigation launched after a St. Louis, Missouri police officer was seen lighting up a cigar while arresting a suspect.

According to the Riverfront Times, the officer was working a “secondary job” at Marquee Lounge when staff asked that a man be removed.

The situation intensified leading the officer to make an arrest.
While the officer was straddling the suspect, he decided to light up a stogie after being handed a lighter by another cop.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident and “what led up to the video and the events that transpired after.”
Charges are pending for the man on the ground for trespassing and resisting arrest.
