😋 Cook your lentils in this way! You'll be amazed
Components:

One cup (200 g) of red lentils, soaked for 30 minutes
Plant oil
One tablespoon of cumin seeds
One onion (150 g), chopped
One teaspoon each of garlic and ginger, minced
One teaspoon of coriander powder
One teaspoon of chili powder or paprika
Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
Three tomatoes, mashed
Two bay leaves
Salt to taste
Four cups of water
Two onions (300g), thinly sliced
Two tablespoons of butter (30 g)
Two cloves of garlic (10g), minced
Dried chili flakes
Fresh coriander, chopped

Instructions:

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or pan, add cumin seeds, fry for 1 minute.

Fry the chopped onion until it becomes transparent.

Stir in the garlic, ginger, coriander powder, chili powder/paprika and turmeric. Add water if necessary.

Add pureed tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes.

Add soaked lentils, bay leaf, salt and water. Cook for 30 minutes.

In a separate pan, fry the onion cut into rings until golden brown, set aside.

Melt butter in a pan, add minced garlic and dried chili flakes. Reduce the heat, add chili powder or paprika.

Add tadka (a mixture of butter and garlic) to the lentil curry.

Stir in chopped fresh coriander and fried onion.

Serve warm with bread or rice.
