My Bariatric Surgery Adventure Part 10 (1 Year Update)
This is possibly the final installment in my bariatric series. Can you believe that it's been a year since I changed my life? A year ago, I had Roux en Y gastric bypass surgery. Starting at 388lbs, now I float between 270 - 280lbs. Overall my health and the quality of my life, has vastly improved. Weight loss surgery is not for everyone, but it was one of the best decisions of my life. It is my hope that if you followed along with me on my journey, you may have a better understanding of what may happen. It's not all peaches and cream but it is definitely worth it. If you are planning on have bariatric surgery in the future, good luck. Stay with it and remember... it's not a fix all, cure all or whatever... it's a tool. Take advantage of those tools and become a healthier you! Good Luck!
