On September 18th, 19th and 20th, 1987 Laura and Peter Baird auctioned a collection of over 600 handcrafted string, hand and rod puppets from the Bil Baird collection. Shot at the Greenwich Auction Room with Pady Blackwood, Laura Baird, Rod Young, Steven Widerman and Peter Baird, Jesse Bien was the auctioneer.
