“This case is a disgrace to the country, to New York” former President Trump told reporters following the end of day 20 in the hush money trial against him. While being under a gag order, the former president read numerous statements from “expert lawyers” who allegedly referred to the case as a “pathetic joke” and referred to the judge as a “head clown.” Mr. Trump also said the judge “hates” him and claimed to have “no reliance on counsel.” Closing statements in the trial are expected next Tuesday after the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
