A passenger died after severe turbulence on a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore

The Singapore Airlines plane on the London-Singapore flight experienced severe turbulence on Tuesday (21/5/2024). The incident resulted in one passenger being killed and more than 30 other passengers being injured. Due to experiencing severe turbulence, the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft bound for Singapore was then diverted to Bangkok, Thailand, and landed at 15.45 local time.
