City commissioners in Grand Rapids have approved a 690-million-dollar

They put 186-million-dollars into the general fund, up just over four-percent from 2024. That's due to increasing prices for goods and services and increased wages and benefits. The budget also includes funding to replace two-thousand lead service lines and hire four new emergency dispatchers.
