Scenes inside Singapore Airlines plane that suffered deadly turbulence

This is the damaged caused to a Singapore Airlines flight that hit deadly turbulence. Video from inside the plane shows how ceiling panels were cracked when passengers were thrown into them, cables and pipes fell from the roof, and rubbish was strewn across the cabin.

Oxygen masks fell from the roof as the plane's emergency systems kicked in. More video shows people being stretchered off the aircraft and treated on the tarmac by medics after the aircraft made an emergency landing in Bangkok.

Passengers said 'all hell broke loose' when the plane hit severe turbulence as breakfast was being served, causing it to plunge almost 7,000ft in a matter of seconds. Amidst the chaos, a British grandfather suffered a fatal heart attack. Peoples heads were breaking the ceiling.
