French Vichy carrots with chicken portions

The carrots are cooked "Vichy-style" in this video.
Ingredients:
800g carrots (different colours is always nice)
30g sugar
6g salt
60g butter
chicken portions
60g butter & olive oil for the chicken portions
salt, pepper, parsley
Pre-heat the oven at 180°C, wash, peel and chop the carrots (see technique in this video)
Cook them in water with sugar, butter, & salt for 5mn
Meanwhile brown the seasoned chicken portions in a buttered pan
Add the carrots to the chicken portions
Put in oven and cook for 40mn at 180°C.
Serve with either rice, potatoes or pasta of course.
And enjoy this nice & simple dinner (or lunch) this weekend!
