“Have you ever seen destruction like this? Even in the end-of-the-world movies?”

@wizard_bisan1 finds almost unimaginable devastation when she returns to Khan Younis, Gaza’s second largest city. As Israel orders the evacuation of Rafah, many are now returning to this town – where almost 80% of buildings have been destroyed.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee Khan Younis in February when Israeli forces besieged the city. Many of their homes are now either destroyed or dangerous to live in – and Bisan takes a tour of one apartment where the children who live there are finding used bullets from an Israeli sniper.

She also visits a mass grave where almost 400 bodies have been uncovered after Israeli forces evacuated on April 7, and finds that some of the dead are missing organs.

Amid the destruction, Bisan interviews Palestinians who are determined to rebuild the city.
