Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has said she wasleft "shocked" and "angered" after OpenAl launched achatbot with an "eerily similar" voice to her own.

The actress said she had previously turned down anapproach by the company to voice its new chatbot, which reads text aloud to users.

When the new model debuted last weekcommentators were quick to draw comparisonsbetween the chatbot's "Sky" voice and Johansson's in the 2013 film Her.

OpenAl said on Monday that it would remove thevoice, but insisted that it was not meant to be an "imitation" of the star.
