Accuracy vs Safety for #1

Old Grumpy Hunter explains why he thinks that safety is as important as accuracy for #1 with crossbow hunting.

Even though hunting is ranked as one of the safest outdoor activities, even the smallest error in safety can and will ruin your day or worse.

Old Grumpy Hunter has been hunting since about 1963. He started with a 410 and 22 rifle (still has them) going after squirrels. Today he hunts Whitetail (with rifle and crossbow), Turkeys (shotgun and crossbow), and Feral Hogs (with crossbow and rifle). The deer and turkey are hunted in Kentucky on his small farm and the feral hogs are hunted in Alabama, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Old Grumpy Hunter has a mechanical and scientific background.
