Is TikTok also fueling the migrant crisis?

After watching a documentary on the migrant crisis in New York City, among others… I’m noticing it recurrent theme, many migrants have said that they saw on TikTok that there were many opportunities here in America. Do you think TikTok is helping to fuel the migrant crisis? Or do believe TikTok has nothing to do with influencing migrants?
