"Stille Nacht," known in English as "Silent Night," is a beloved Christmas carol. It was crafted in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber, with lyrics penned by Joseph Mohr. This heartwarming melody originated in the quaint town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria. Recognizing its cultural significance, UNESCO honored it as an intangible cultural heritage in 2011. The song made its first recorded appearance in 1905. Since then, it has consistently charmed audiences, finding its way into films, enjoying numerous successful renditions, and even influencing other musical compositions.

The creation of this dynamic orchestration resulted from a collaboration between two talented musicians, Chip Davis of Mannheim Steamroller fame and Calvin Custer. Together, they skillfully arranged the music, infusing it with a deep sense of emotion and artistry. This remarkable synergy between these two exceptional musicians gave birth to a piece of music that resonates with the soul and captures the essence of their collective creativity.

For this recording, Greg Rice, an expert in music programming, has brought their vision to virtual life. Through his technical expertise and precision, he meticulously programmed the intricate elements of the orchestration, ensuring that every note and instrument harmoniously blended to create a truly captivating musical experience.
