Disney Announces Pirates of the Caribbean REBOOT! With Johnny Depp?

Disney is deciding to carry on and pilfer another franchise with the announcement that Pirates of the Caribbean will be rebooted with several holdovers from the last iteration. Jerry Bruckheimer broke the news that Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg will be back directing as they did for 2017's "Dead Men Tell No Tales" and Jeff Nathanson, writer for the same project, has a great script with a "great third act."

But what about the actors? Chiefly, what about Johnny Depp and Captain Jack Sparrow.
