US says Iran asked for help after helicopter crash

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller on Monday (May 20) said Iran asked Washington for assistance after Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's helicopter crashed in mountains near the Azerbaijan border, and that his death does not alter the U.S.'s stance toward Iran.
