Kate Dalley Show: Dr. Duke Pesta on Harrison Butker and Motherhood

Kate then welcomes Uncle Milty and special guest Dr. Duke Pesta to the show to cover today's hot cultural topics. Up for discussion, Harrison Butker. The kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs has come under fire for his comments in a speech to graduates of the Catholic Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. Butker asked the women in the graduating class to consider the joy and importance of motherhood as they looked to the future, instead of just pining for promotions in soulless jobs offered by corporate America.

“I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” Butker said to the graduates.

“How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

In the wake of his speech, the kicker came under fire from the usual suspects in the mainstream media, as well as from the now-woke NFL. The League's Sr. VP for "diversity and inclusion" [of course] declared that Butker's "views are not those of the NFL as an organization."

Based on the fire he is getting, you know Butker is right over the target!

Also on the show today, discussion of the reflexive and casual racism of the Democrats and President Joe Biden that was on display as Biden mumbled through his own commencement speech at Morehouse College, where some students turned their back on "the Big Guy" in silent protest.
