The final report of the public inquiry into the UK'sinfected blood scandal will be published on Monday.

More than 30,000 people were infected with HIV andhepatitis C, from 1970 to 1991, by contaminated blood.

The scandal has been called the biggest treatmentdisaster in NHS history, with victims campaigning for years.

Some ọf the treatments were imported from the USwhere blood was bought from high-risk donors such asprison inmates and drug-users.

One victim said any potential apology from thegovernment "won't bring back the dead".
