A regional state of emergency in Yakutia, Russia

May 20, 2024. A regional state of emergency has been introduced in Yakutia due to the severe flood situation.
There are 14 villages in the flood zone. Currently, 320 houses and over 460 yards are flooded, the Republic's Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.
Climate is changing due to 12,000 year cycle.
